Ryan & Eli Wedding at Lake Tahoe

I know this is supposed to be a blog about Thailand, but I thought you might enjoy some pictures from the wedding of Ryan & Eli on April 27, 2013 at Lake Tahoe.  Besides, this may be your only chance to see me wearing a tie.

Elephants on the Samoeng Loop Road

Just for fun (is there any other reason?) I took the Ninja for a ride on the road to Samoeng, located west of Chiang Mai.  This road loops around Doi Suptep National Park, with a spur to the town of Samoeng where you can get a bowl of noodles and wash it down with a very good cup of coffee.  During one coffee stop I spotted some elephants.
